Letters

Letter: A Quick Word ; the Apprentice

Dear Editor, is the BBC insulting the intelligence of its viewers? Are we really to believe The Apprentice is for real? I for one remain unconvinced. This is how I see it: The winner of the so-called competition to find Sir Alan Sugar a business ' whizzkid' will of course be Christine, who would have been chosen before the programme started because of her outstanding CV.

Letter: Our Wish Comes True ; Tony Blair

Letter: Television

Dear Editor, Other than unfortunately catching some newspaper and TV news coverage of programmes like Big Brother, I remain blissfully unaware of much of the reality TV rubbish that is now polluting our TV screens. Letter: Vigil to Highlight Poverty to World Leaders ; G8 Interfaith Vigil

Dear Editor, I have attended the most significant event ever in my journey of faith and campaigning. The G8 Interfaith Vigil in Chamberlain Square Birmingham saw people gather from every major faith community. I realise that possibly nowhere else in the world, but Birmingham, could one see young and old of every ethnic hue and faith come to together in peace, sharing their concerns for the world's poor.
