The West Midlands aerospace industry has seen a moderate increase in the level of M&A activity during the last 12 months with six deals being completed in the period compared to two during the previous 12 months.

Statistics show that the West Midlands accounted for around 15percent of all the mid-market - up to pounds 100million in transaction value - aerospace deals in the UK by volume over the last three years and within the West Midlands itself, Aerospace deals accounted for 10per cent of all transactions within 2007 and 2008.
