I read that we are 20 times more likely to achieve our goals if we commit them to paper. Something to do with how our brain works and the way information is processed.
This explains why simply standing up and shouting loudly has not worked quite as effectively for me. Whispering my ambitions silently to myself just before my head hits the pillow was also never going to work. It is also important to record your goals in the current tense, or something similar. No "hoping" or "plan to" language. Something much more definite is required for the brain to do its stuff and take us to previously unimagined heights.See the full content of this document
