Defence and aerospace group Ultra Electronics - which has operations at Rugeley and Cheltenham employing around 200 people - yesterday posted a seven per cent rise in mid-year underlying operating profit, with strong demand for airliners boosting its aircraft and vehicles systems business.
Operating profit before amortisation for the six months to June 30 increased seven per cent to pounds 27 million, on revenues of pounds 192.9 million, up from pounds 180.7 million for the same period in 2006.See the full content of this document
