Alarm As Delcam Sales Are Hit by Exchange Rate

Birmingham computer-aided design firm Delcam has sounded the warning bells, saying this year's reported sales will be hit by exchange rate effects.

Although it has seen 2004 group sales in local currency terms fatten by around nine per cent, with 60 per cent of its software and maintenance sales denominated in US dollars, reported sales growth is now 'anticipated to be insufficient to declare profits in line with market expectations'.
