Alcohol-related deaths have risen by ten per cent in the West Midlands since 2000, according to a new report published yesterday.
The report, for the Chief Medical Officer, released by the Association of Public Health Observatories, showed booze was linked to 6.05 per cent of deaths among men, and 4.17 per cent of women in the region in 2005.See the full content of this document
