A ston Villa's Swedish international Marcus Allback last night dismissed fresh allegations that Sweden and Denmark fixed their 2-2 draw in the group stages of Euro 2004 in order to progress into the quarter-finals at the expense of Italy.

Allback and Villa captain Olof Mellberg were both in the Swedish team that night in Porto, while club-mates Martin Laursen and Thomas Sorensen and Birmingham City winger Jesper Gronkjaer were in the Danish side.
