Just when Europe has agreed that we can keep our miles, feet and inches and of course, pints, could the British really be falling out of love with the traditional pint of beer?

While it is true that big multinational brewers are experiencing a reduction in sales of lager and bitter within the UK market, key regional and smaller local breweries are in fact enjoying volume and value growth of two per cent. This is the finding of a recent report commissioned by some of the UK's leading regional breweries; Everards, Marstons, Adnams, Greene King, Wells & Youngs, Fullers and Caledonian.
