Advantage West Midlands has already received more than a dozen applications by commercial developers for a chunk of a multi- million pound pot aimed at bouying the sector during the current downturn.

The pounds 48 million gap funding package, which was officially launched this week although it has been available for some time, will trigger pounds 192 million of new commercial and industrial development over the next five years claims the regional development agency.
