How many employers can you name that are currently hiring apprentices? One or two, a dozen - 40? This is the number of local and regional organisations that Birmingham Metropolitan College has partnered with to deliver apprenticeships, but they would still like to work with many more. Birmingham Metropolitan College is holding an apprenticeship event for employers and students who want to join one of their apprentice programmes next Thursday (May 20) at the College's Matthew Boulton Campus, Jennens Road, Eastside (4.30pm start for employers, 5pm for learners).
The College will showcase how 'on the job' training is the way forward for the region's future workforce. They will also provide details of the funding available to both current and new employers in order to support the training and professional development of their staff.See the full content of this document
