Summary
The pounds 100 million redevelopment of a new town centre for Longbridge has taken another step forward with the appointment of architects for the scheme Holder Mathias Architects has been appointed alongside master planning and landscape architects Barton Willmore to deliver detailed plans for the 15-acre, mixed-use scheme, focusing on the initial phase which is likely to comprise a food store, retail units, hotel, car park, and the four-acre Austin Park.
The new town centre represents the first phase of the 15-year, pounds 1 billion regeneration of the former MG Rover car production plant, which will eventually see the 468-acre site transformed by the construction of a new Bournville College, 2,000 new homes and significant new office space to compliment the new Innovation Centre, which has already attracted a host of occupiers.See the full content of this document
