Attitudes to cannabis have changed considerably since Tory leader David Cameron is claimed to have taken the drug while at school.

Only 12 per cent of Britons believed the drug should be legalised in the 1980s but 20 years on more than two-fifths of British people in the UK think it should no longer be against the law.
