Summary
Richard Harvey, chief executive of Norwich Union owner Aviva, saw his pay and benefits package rocket by 60 per cent last year.
According to the UK insurer's annual report, Mr Harvey's total remuneration rose to pounds 1.922 million in 2005 from pounds 1.203 million the previous year.
