Ba Leads Revival of Faith in Air Travel

Summary


UK flagship airline British Airways yesterday posted a 3.3 per cent rise in March traffic in the airline's busiest month since September 2006.

The carrier - now Europe's third-largest airline - said premium traffic rose by 3.6 per cent, while non - premium traffic increased by 3.2 per cent. Its load factor, a measure of how efficiently it filled planes, was up 0.7 percentage points to 76.3 per cent, despite BA expanding passenger capacity by 2.3 per cent.
