Summary
Non-meat eaters are in for a treat this week, as city centre- based Body & Being celebrates National Vegatarian Week. The countrywide event, to highlight food without a face, kicked off on Monday and runs all this week.
The newly launched spa, just five minutes walk from Brindleyplace, is marking the week with special lunchtime menu items in its cafe, picking a different country for each day. Today you can experience the delights of the Far East with Japanese omelette salad, tomorrow you can taste Vienesse smoked tofu and Friday sees Bangali sookhe mushrooms and peppers. Saturday, the cafe heads towards Italy with cannelloni before finishing on Sunday with a good ol' English nut roast and veg. Body & Being is based at The Watermarque, just off Sheepcote Street, and for more details contact 0121 456 7633Stressed-out male execs can now take advantage of bargain basement facials and manicures to help perk themselves up.
