Just when you think there's nothing happening on the live music scene, along comes a 92-year-old to remind the jazz fraternity that it all began with the blues and there just has to be something life- giving in this evergreen music. David "Honeyboy" Edwards is one of the last of the original Delta Blues men left standing, though I would think he now plays sitting down.

He plays tonight at Taylor John's House, the versatile venue in the Canal Basin in Coventry.
