Having watched incumbent Shane Drahm struggle to find his best form this season, James Brown has been given the opportunity to stake his claim to the fly-half berth in Worcester's EDF Energy Cup match at Northampton today.

Despite his club's winless start to their Premiership campaign, Brown has not played in any of the four first-team games with Drahm installed as the favoured outside half. Instead he has had to be happy with proving his case in a handful of A league matches.
