A Birmingham company which supports the marine industry has sent a pounds 2,500 wave of support to help children at Acorns.
Truflo Marine's generous staff raffled Aston Villa tickets, and raised money through the firm's suggestions box, donating the value of shopping vouchers. Pete Britton of the machine shop, who served nearly 50 years at Truflo before retiring, even donated his pounds 100 retirement gift to Acorns. Susan Hind, Truflo marketing co- ordinator, said: "The employees selected Acorns to benefit due to the fantastic work that they undertake for life limited children and young adults across the region."See the full content of this document
