Home Secretary David Blunkett yesterday appealed to the 24 million inhabitants of the Indian Punjab state for help in finding a prime suspect in the murder of Southampton student Hannah Foster.
He asked them to assist police in tracking down Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, who is wanted for the rape and murder of the 17year- old student in March 2003. The Home Secretary also appealed for information about a seven-year-old boy believed to have been abducted by his father from Sheffield and taken to India. There is a five million rupee reward (pounds 7,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Kohli -more than a skilled Indian worker could hope to earn in two lifetimes.See the full content of this document
