Summary
Bodycote International, the specialist thermal processing and testing services company, has bought Saab Metech, which has operations in Scandinavia and Germany, US firm ACT Laboratories and Warrington Fire Research Group for pounds 29 million in cash.
So far Bodycote, which in the Midlands employs 250 people at Aldridge, Coventry, Great Barr, Birmingham, Walsall, Droitwich, Dudley, Nuneaton and Wolverhampton, has spent pounds 45 million in 2006 on acquisitions for its testing arm.See the full content of this document
