Nearly 200 jobs have been saved at Birmingham-based Europackaging after it was bought back by former owners the Majid family, it was revealed yesterday.
The family concluded the deal in a prepack administration agreement, which secures more than 800 jobs worldwide, almost three years after they sold the company to private equity house Mid-Ocean Partners. The takeover results in Europackaging Jersey Guarantee, owned by the Majid family, acquiring Europackaging Ltd and Border Converters Ltd for an undisclosed sum.See the full content of this document
