A five-year-old boy was knocked down by an electric mobility scooter, police said yesterday. Brendan Sutherland was run over as he walked with his mother Zoe Sutherland and brother Lucas, six, in a pedestrianised shopping centre in Yate, south Gloucestershire.
Ms Sutherland told reporters her son was left with bruises on his legs after he was dragged along for several yards. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed they are investigating the incident, but no one has been arrested or formally questioned as a suspect.See the full content of this document
