Reports last weekend suggesting the undefeated two-weight world champion had privately made a decision for this month's victory over Roy Jones Jr to be his last bout. The Welshman, however, had been expected to wait until after Christmas before announcing his decision and reports that he had made up his mind were regarded as premature.
