A Dudley manufacturer making inroads into Chinese markets has won The Birmingham Post monthly award for February. GB Federal which designs and builds specialist machinery for the automotive supply chain recently won a contract worth pounds 1.8 million from Lear Corporation at Nottingham. The business, which has its works in Birmingham New Road, exports more than 70 per cent of its products to continental Europe, South America and Asia.
