Local choirs get into overdrive this week on the final lap of the run-up to Christmas. Three of Birmingham's main choral societies have a busy weekend between them, and other groups aren't dragging their feet.
Birmingham Festival Choral Society has a particularly high profile, with its own Christmas concert at St John's and St Peter's Church in Ladywood on Saturday at 6pm. BFCS is joined by Tempered Brass for this "Winter Wonderland" in aid of CRUSE (details on 0121 2025000). And on Sunday this hardworking choir joins the London Concert Orchestra at Symphony Hall for a "Christmas Carol Singalong", hosted by Jonathan Cohen (7.30pm).See the full content of this document
