College leaders in the West Midlands are struggling to cope with a growing demand for courses in holistic therapies. Lessons in alternative medicine are now so popular that many further education establishments claim they are having to rethink their provision for the current academic year.
Kidderminster College has reported a 25 per cent increase in students on courses such as aromatherapy and reflexology while Stratford-upon-Avon College is offering holistic therapy training for the first time.
