A survey into student life in Birmingham has debunked a few myths about the way undergraduates live today.
Anyone who supposes that universities and colleges are hot-beds of left-wing activists surviving in squalid bedsits and ignoring their studies is stuck in a 1980s time warp, according to the study by Marketing Birmingham.
