A lettings drought in Birmingham's out-of-town office market could be alleviated if the city's developers built more premises on a speculative basis, according to Martin Guest at property consultants CB Richard Ellis.

Mr Guest, director and head of agency at the Birmingham firm, says there have been no office pre-lets along the M42 Corridor for at least 18 months.
