Dear Sir, It was with interest that I read your article (Birmingham Post, May 8) about the potential stumbling blocks to the redevelopment of Warwickshire County Cricket Club's (WCCC) Edgbaston ground and that they may have to consider relocating. If there are difficulties in delivering the Edgbaston redevelopment then this does not inherently mean that Test cricket would have to be lost to the Midlands or that WCCC would automatically have to look at a reduced facility.
For me Coventry could provide WCCC with a chance to develop world- class facilities to ensure the future of Test match cricket in the Heart of England and at the same time deliver a once in a lifetime development for our city.See the full content of this document
