Food producer Cranswick said half-year profits climbed five per cent after it passed on rising raw material costs to consumers.
The meat specialist, whose supply contracts include Sainsbury's Taste the Difference range, achieved a surplus of pounds 18.5 million in the period to September 30, slightly ahead of City hopes.
