Australia hope to open up England's psychological wounds at Edgbaston today as they bid for a place in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy.

The Ashes rivals meet in the first of the tournament's semifinals - after 14 consecutive victories for Australia in previous meetings. Even when England have been in winning situations against the World Cup holders in recent one-day internationals they have choked at crucial times, a factor which Australian captain Ricky Ponting believes might play on the minds of the opposition once again.
