Bangladesh provided the eighth and last piece in the World Cup jigsaw yesterday, and the competition proper starts tomorrow.

Known as the Super Eights, the format is heavily weighted in favour of Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and hosts West Indies - the four teams who carry two points forward from the four groups they topped after beating fellow qualifiers from their respective groups.
