The game against Middlesex sure was tough. The wicket, though a bit slow, probably would have been suitable for a Test match and a fifth day could have produced some interesting cricket.

I don't think you can blame Middlesex for their tactics. It was always going to be desperately hard to bowl us out twice and they didn't feel they could risk another loss. They have accepted they are not going to win the Championship and were just hoping to drag us into the relegation fight.
