Julia Hyland has to be at Birmingham's Crescent Theatre an hour before every performance of The Dawn Treader - because she made her son Harley into an eye-catching zombie.

Harley, who is 23, wanted to make people realise that there was more to Birmingham than shopping and he chose last September's ArtsFest to do it. Julia transformed him so effectively that when she visited the Crescent's stall the following day he was still fresh in people's memories.
