Culture: Rock Icons in Focus

Summary

Most people with anything resembling a record or CD collection will think they recognise this picture (left) of a young Bob Dylan and girlfriend of the day strolling through the New York snow in early 1963. This and the other pictures are part of an exhibition titled Not Fade Away, featuring iconic rock images from the Sixties to the present. Pictures like Bob Marley and The Wailers (above) making their way to a New York gig or Ian Dury posing for the cover shot of his New Boots and Panties album (inset).
