A former Royal Shakespeare Company actor who was seriously injured when he was knocked off his motorcycle by an untraced driver, yesterday lost his claim that the Government was to blame for the level of damages he received.
In 1999, Kenneth Moore, who used the stage name Ken Dudley, was awarded pounds 376,000 over the April 1995 accident. The amount Mr Moore, aged 40, of West Sussex, received was subsequently increased on appeal in 2000 to pounds 585,000.See the full content of this document
