Summary


One of two friends accused of beating a man to death and dumping his naked body in a Midland park said yesterday that when they left him it did not cross his mind that he was dead.

Tony Tinsley (27) said in evidence at Stafford Crown Court: "I just thought he was beaten up. All I could see what blood on his face." Tinsley, of Lord Murray Drive and Michael Boland (36) of Westbourne, both Woodside, Tel-ford, Shropshire, pleaded not guilty to the murder of father of two, Gerrard McAndrew in July last year.
