Drivers will spend the equivalent of an extra working week a year stuck in traffic by the end of the decade unless the Government changes its transport policy, a campaign group warned yesterday.
The average person currently spends just more than 35 minutes a day in a car, either as a driver or passenger, but this is set to rise to almost 42 minutes a day by 2010, according to the Way To Go coalition.See the full content of this document
