Recruitment consultant Hays said fee growth slowed to four per cent in the UK and Ireland after a "difficult quarter" in construction and property.
Continued financial sector turmoil saw demand for City-related posts remain "subdued", Hays said. The group said net fees growth in the UK and Ireland, more than half total income, slowed to four per cent in its final quarter to June 30. In the previous quarter the region's net fees grew five per cent, with 13 per cent during the previous six months.See the full content of this document
