Dsg Margins Hit by Italian Job

A weak performance in Italy has dented margins at the owner of Currys and PC World.

DSG International, Europe's biggest electrical retailer, said underlying first-half profit would be little changed after its UniEuro chain in Italy saw like for sales drop by ten per cent. The performance at the arm, which accounts for ten per cent of annual group sales, was described by DSG as "very disappointing" in a trading statement.
