Building industry body ConstructionSkills has secured pounds 1 million to fund construction companies in the West Midlands to take on apprentices who have been laid-off during the recession.
The money, which came from the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), aims to help firms provide suitable apprenticeship employment to displaced apprentices who are close to the end of their training with financial support of up to pounds 1,000.See the full content of this document
