Employees at Goodyear Dunlop wore their sunglasses to work all day as part of a pledge to raise pounds 30,000 to support the new Teenage Cancer Trust ward at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Hundreds of employees donated pounds 1 each as part of a 'Rock your Shades' appeal. PR manager Kate Rock said: "Receiving cancer treatment is a difficult experience at any age, but when you're young it is even more daunting. The new Teenage Cancer Trust ward at Birmingham Children's Hospital is designed to feel less clinical than a typical ward, with facilities such as XBoxes and pool tables."See the full content of this document
