Everton have launched an angry attack on Liverpool City Council after losing a planning appeal that will cost the club pounds 10million.
The Merseyside club had hoped to sell their former Bellefield training ground inWest Derby for housing, with the cashgoing towards their pounds 78million contribution for the proposed new stadiumin Kirkby. A separate planning inquiry is under way to decide whether the club's new stadium project - a joint venture with Tesco - in Kirkby can go ahead, and it is set to last another three weeks.See the full content of this document
