Peter Reid was left cursing his side's inability to finish off Gillingham after the visitors came from 2-0 down with 24 minutes remaining to draw. Andy Morrell scored his fifth goal this season in the first half and former Birmingham City striker Stern John doubled the Sky Blues' advantage three minutes after the break with a well- taken penalty on his debut.
