Summary


A British officer killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq believed that "little by little" his troop was "making a difference" in the war- torn country, his father said yesterday.

Brigadier John Palmer also said the "vast majority" of Iraqis were "better off" because of the work of soldiers like his son.
