A father and son were handed suspended jail sentences yesterday after they admitted disturbing golden eagles, hen harriers and other rare birds of prey in the wild.

Jonathon Lingard (33) and his father Clive (60) were sentenced at Redditch Magistrates' Court, Worcestershire, after pleading guilty to a total of 12 charges under the Wildlife and Countryside Act.
