More than half of all finance directors in the Midlands now believe Gordon Brown's policies have had a negative impact on British business, according to Midlands accountants BDO Stoy Hayward.
In a national survey the biggest area of complaint for Midlanders was corporation tax, with many FDs calling for an immediate cut in the current 30 per cent rate to boost UK international competitiveness.
