The return of merger and acquisition (M&A) activity has still yet to materialise, according to figures released yesterday by KPMG Corporate Finance.
The analysis reveals that while the value of UK completed transactions held up in the first half of 2004, the number of completed deals was down 25 per cent, falling from 1,343 in the first six months of 2003 to 1,001 so far this year.See the full content of this document
