This is an artist's impression of five Birmingham men who appeared in court yesterday charged with terror offences.
One of the defendants, Parviz Khan, is accused of plotting to kidnap and kill a British soldier. The other four, Amjad Mah-mood, Mohammed Irfan, Zahoor Iqbal and Hamid Elasmar, also face offences under the Terrorism Act. They were all arrested in anti-terror raids in Birmingham on January 31.
