Summary


Maik Taylor says that a month without a Coca-Cola Championship match has put Birmingham City under pressure.

Two postponements and FA Cup activity means that, when Birmingham play at home to Southend United tonight, it will be their first league match since January 1. Taylor, the Birmingham goalkeeper, is frustrated that the team have lost their lead in the division to Derby County. Birmingham do have two matches in hand but that is not always an advantageous situation.
